The Challenge R.L. Zeigler Company was celebrating their 100th anniversary, but their hot dog packaging looked stuck in the past. With three different product lines that all blended together on the shelf, they were losing sales to brands with more eye-catching designs. They needed packaging that honored their century of quality while actually getting noticed by today's shoppers.

My Approach I knew this wasn't just about making things prettier - it was about storytelling. People buy with their eyes first, especially in the grocery store. I created a commemorative logo that celebrated their incredible 100-year milestone, then designed three distinct packaging styles that each had personality but still felt like family. The key was making their heritage feel like a strength, not something old-fashioned.

The Results The new packaging immediately stood out on shelves and gave the sales team something to be proud of when talking to retailers. Most importantly, R.L. Zeigler now had a visual identity that matched the quality they'd been delivering for a century - and a platform to build on for their next 100 years.
